Osita (Ossy) is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Visa Microfinance Bank Ltd. He has led the bank since it was established in 2009 to extend over N6.5billion credit facilities to individuals and SMEs. He earned his Ph.D. degree from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (former Anambra State University), Anambra State, where he researched on Entrepreneurship, Financial Management and SME Management. Ossy, also an alumnus of the University of Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom holds MSc degree in International Business. He was also the Best Graduating Student of the Department of Marketing at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where he bagged BSc degree in Marketing.
With over 19 years unparalleled experience and exposure in the banking and finance industry, he has garnered deep expertise, exposure and skill-set needed in steering the ship of a financial institution. Previously, he worked with Intercontinental Bank Plc (Access Bank), Guardian Express Bank Plc (Heritage Bank), Ecobank Plc and Bank PHB Plc (Keystone Bank). He headed strategic departments and personnel in the banks and spearheaded key initiatives and product developments. He also set up and managed an NGO (The Poverty Mitigation Initiative Foundation – PMIF) that aided the financially excluded persons.
He is a member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). He is a consummate financial management professional with extensive foreign and local exposures/training as well as with versatile experience in key financial areas. His wealth of knowledge continues to prove strategic and invaluable for Visa Microfinance Bank Ltd. Ossy is currently the Chairman of the National Association of Microfinance Banks (NAMB), FCT-Abuja Chapter.
Chidozie graduated from Abia State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. His work experience and exposure saw to his handling of sensitive posts and projects at Fort Knox Guards Ltd, Pillar Microfinance Bank, Dollar Pharmacy Ltd and Eden Solutions and Resources Ltd. He brings on board extensive hands-on experience in retail banking operations, internal control processes and team management.
He sees to the operational efficiency of Visa Microfinance Bank. His efficiency and dedication come as good package for the growth of Visa Microfinance Bank.
Emmanuel sees to the development of new businesses and retention of the bank’s core clients. He is a graduate of Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State. He graduated with a degree in Polymer Engineering.
